I’m from Texas and my first time seeing this bridge was so nice. We have the 360 bridge in Austin but this was something interesting and unique to see because there are actual buildings on this bridge. How interesting is that? The shops on the bridge were all predominantly gold jewelry stores. There were all really cute. And the view from within the bridge? Just stunning. I got to see it every morning during sunrise on my walk to school there (I was studying abroad at the time). And at night? Even more stunning because they light up the bridge. 10/10 recommend going during or closely after the Christmas holidays. It’s even more stunning then with the lights around Florence.

A very impressive site, one of the most photographed monuments in Florence, perhaps the most beautiful bridge in the world. The legend says that it was the only bridge that was not destroyed by the Nazis because it was previously visited by Hitler, mine was recently found a letter that tells that in the night between 3 and 4 August 1944, the Burgasso, old and physically in bad shape, assistant of the goldsmiths left free to circulate as the Germans thought he understood nothing, he witnessed the laying of mine and having seen everything, he knew where the connections of mine were and was able to defuse them. A fantastic city like Florence deserves the best. Many tourists, cleanliness can be seen everywhere, garbage collectors at work even at night to make the city shine. Those who have not yet seen Florence must do so, obviously if they are passionate about history, culture, art, It is the home of the greatest of the Renaissance. It was the first time I saw Ponte Vecchio, well there are no words to describe the beauty from afar and externally, both walking over the bridge where you are surrounded by both ancient and not really spectacular jewelers. It is truly a wonderful thing and I highly recommend you to stroll over and enjoy the wonderful display cases of jewelry, and reed the beautiful structure.

The place was magical. The ambience during the evening was splendid. The bridge is full of jewellery shops. The view from the bridge is better than the bridge itself
