Delicious food for a good price with possibility to sit and free toilets.

Over prized, still not friendly staff. There are many better options. Its just that it is close to Ponte Vecchio. Avoid if you can. Even for gelatos, they have small ones at exorbitant rates.

Worst service in Florence. The two ladies were extremely rude. I asked for ice for a soft drink that was not cold and without looking she said no. We had ordered pasta and requested parmesan cheese, she was ready to say no when realized that the parmesan cheese was in front of her in plain view. Don't go there, terrible.

We usually read reviews before eating anywhere but we were in a rush due to the time we had to get back with our tour group in Florence. We saw the food displayed very nicely so decided to take a chance. The pizza was premade and barely warmed up. Flavour was nothing as we expected. I would not advise eating here as there are many other places to eat in the area.

Most of the places I’ve dined in Florence have well deserved enormous praise. It’s easy for restaurants in a tourist area to slack off, so these deserve to be rewarded. Not so for Ristorante Self Service L'Orologio. Its sole feature is its proximity to the Uffizi Museum. We knew we would be in the museum for hours and weren’t sure how good the cafeteria would be. (We shouldn’t have worried. It was great if a bit pricy.) On the other hand, Ristorante Self Service L'Orologio sucked big time. There were no crowd control staff so local pushed ahead of us as if we weren’t there. The food was poorly cooked and not very tasty.

The food is average. The staff is rude & uninterested in attending clients. The toilet is filthy and there is neither soap, nor paper. MY MOBILE PHONE WAS STOLEN IN THIS RESTAURANT on the 3rd of January 2020. I almost immediately reported it to the staff but they couldn't care less. They refused to show me the camera footage when I asked them to. They refused to call the police claiming that the police would not come for such a trivial matter and that I should call the police. They even claimed that the police closes at 8pm!!!! (It was around 7:30pm.) When I returned with a police agent, the staff avoided talking to him and when he asked them to show him the cameras, they denied arguing that only the owner has the security code to access the cameras and the owner was not there and they cannot call him and in any case he would not show the camera footage to anybody (police included) unless there is an official police report about the burglary. I filed an official report the same evening. AVOID THIS PLACE and PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR STUFF!

Absolutely horrible service at this restaurant. Don't be fooled by the beautiful display of food in the window. The pizza is bland with no flavor; it looks better than it tastes. The woman behind the counter serving our group of 5 was incredibly rude. She is Asian and has braces. When she wasn't frowning, she was rolling her eyes as if it was a bother to serve us. I was ready to leave and cancel my order but half of our group had already paid for their meals. There are a lot of wonderful places to eat in Florence. This place is to be avoided like many other reviewers have stated.

The establishment is decent but the servers look miserable and have this sarcastic look on their faces as if they feel that us tourists are just a rotating group of robots that will eat their ice cream no matter how they treat us. We'll, I say to them, welcome to the 21st century of online customer reviews. I hope this and other reviews instigate a good deal of change in customer service. Otherwise the invisible hand will smite this place and force them to sell a gold mine real-estate spot.
