Very tasty meal and wine! We were very hungry and the food looked okay so we decided to try it. We ordered the florentine steak that was on the offer and the truffle pasta. They were both just amazingly tasty... yumm. They had their own house wine bottled and it was also very very good. The people working there were nice and relaxed. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Stopped by for lunch by chance. Needed to take a break from sightseeing and escape the blazing sun (heat wave). We've been in Italy for a week now and all the food has been great but this was the best meal we've had so far. They have been in business for 85 years and I understand why. Great food, great people!
We had the best steak of our lives here. The workers were so attentive and helpful. Very English friendly too. We had the gnocchi and dried age steak below.
Wanted to check out this place and was fully satisfied! I had Many pasta with truffles during the last days and this one was definitely the best, nice creamy sauce, tasty. Was really good and the pasta al cinghiale of my boyfriend were also really nice Overall 55 for antipasti go share, 2 primi Pizarro, half bottle of wine and liquor. Worth it! Service was simple, I like it, very casual and the Owner was even offering a small gift to celebrate his family anniversary Will definitely go back next time in Florence
I love this restaurant!! What can I say, I had the fresh pasta with clams and truffle and it was absolutely heavenly. This was my second meal of the night and I cleaned the plate right off because it was that good. And it's only 14! Apparently they have very good bistecca fiorentina as well for great value but we didn't get a chance to try it. If you're in Florence and thinking about trying here, absolutely give it a try, and order their fresh pasta! Ps there is a cover fee, I guess it is everywhere in Italy.
