Thank you Shane for awesome customer service and helping us through a complex PPP loan process! We know as small business owners the amount of paperwork needed for these things as we have had to do in the past. They did require pertinent documentation so that when submitted to the SBA it would not be kicked back with insufficient information causing delays for the extremely necessary funding. We cannot say enough good about First Bank of the Lake! Highly recommend!

All our dealings with the bank were timely, efficient, and responsive. Emails were returned quickly, questions answered right away. Processing turn around times were also very quick.

Customer Service Answered with a human being that was pleasant, intelligent and helpful--and answered on the second ring! The website portal was perfect. The timeliness and responsiveness has been better than any bank I’ve ever dealt with. I have Chase Private Client relations and Wells Fargo Premiere Banking---the level of service overall has far exceeded these banks I’ve had longstanding relationships with. Thank you!

**UPDATE** In addition to First Bank of the Lake's inefficiencies. I was contacted by my full time employer today to inform me that their CEO Michael Anderson reached out via email to demand that I remove my review and issue an apology. The lack of ethics by this company is astounding! A complete violation of consumer protection in addition to stalking, and harassment in order to silence a consumer's 1st Amendment rights to provide honest feedback. I am a small business owner with a combat veteran disabled husband. I run my business in addition to working a full time job to care for my two children. The sheer malice and spite displayed by the CEO of this company by retaliating against a small business owner in the middle of a global pandemic is beyond malevolent. My review stands. **************************************************************** I am appalled at the lack of service received from this bank. They obviously spent a great deal of money on Google ads for PPP, instead of investing in having sufficient support to execute the influx of applications received. No one answers phone lines. No one responds to emails. Completed \pre-application\ submitted on 1/13/2020 with all supporting documentation. Then I receive an email on a Friday evening that my application was declined due to lack of documentation (I believe they were more pressed about the negative Tweets I posted tbh). It is no wonder they have such negative reviews. A prospective client can't help but feel like they received the old bait and switch from First Bank. Sadly, you are hurting small business owners with your inadequate customer support.

This bank is extremely slow in processing PPP loan documents. They take your info and send you to SBA then you wait WEEKS for loan documents. Update: Loan supposed funded 7 days ago and no funds have been received yet. This bank is full of it and they give the run around. A direct deposit dies not take a week of more! It seems they are not prepared to handle the files and this prevents you from going to another lender. It has been TWO WEEKS from SBA approval and still no loan documents to sign. Generic answers and no urgency are not a good thing for small business who need the funding. I've seen several other business owners go with other banks and have been funded already. Go with another organization. If this bank is holding your file hostage, report them to SBA. Absolutely unacceptable!
