Horrible place. Do not go to this facility for your primary care. The front office staff is HORRIBLE. None of them know what they’re doing! They forget or just plain out DON’T DO simple stuff like call patients if the doctor is doing telephone visits now, if any paperwork is needed before you come in, or simply to confirm your next appointment. The staff is horrible. Go elsewhere please! Don’t trust these people with your health.

I've never had a problem with my service. I use to go to walnut street but now I go to the first choice primary at the health department location. It's very relaxing inside and the staff is great. They treat you like family and they get you in and out. The nurses explain things to you if you have questions and don't just shrug you off. I've been going to first choice for 7 years now and it's been a great experience for.my family.

Terrible place ! If you are sick its so noisey you will get sicker than what you already are sitting in the building ! If your not sick and your having a check up its so noisey you cant stand to sit in the building to wait for your check up ! The place dont have any caring emotions ! Its like ship them in Ship them out ! I dont feel cared for in this place ! There's a court house around the corner from this terrible place I have complained about this place I hope they get this place straight ! I am changing Doctor's ! I will never use this place again ! I would not want them checking my children !

I've been a patient about 8 years, and I like the overall service. Dr. Roundtree is great and cares about her patients, she is also very personable. Now I haven't personally encountered any issues with the office staff, but I've seen some unprofessional business with other patients. They office staff can really do better!!

I went to First Choice when I relocated to Macon in 2011. The main reason was it was located a block from where I lived and seemed to have decent reviews. At the very beginning I had issues with one of the NPs on staff. I needed my regular checkups including an overdue mammogram. She insisted I have a Pap smear. I’ve had a total hysterectomy and my Chicago doctor indicated in my file that this was an unnecessary procedure. However the NP refused to schedule me for a mammogram until I had a Pap smear. I had to strongly request a mammogram and remember signing a paper saying I had refused the Pap smear. Luckily I found a free mammogram screening program at another facility and was able to get the test done. Have never been back. It could be right next door and I would not go.
