Cannot thank First Mortgage enough for helping us purchase our first home. With the current state of the pandemic they were really helpful in talking us through step by step remotely either over the phone or through zoom calls. Dealing with Carrie at the Aberdeen branch was great as she was sure to always put our needs first and make sure we were aware of anywhere we could save some money too.

I was a first time buyer and really unsure of how to go about getting a mortgage. I finally plumped for first Mortgage. I phoned the generic number and was given Lynsey's details in the Elgin branch. It was apparent that she had a few customers to deal with already, but she always managed to make time to chat through the process or answer any queries. She made buying a house seem really simple, and throughout maintained a very proffesional, but also extremely friendly manner. Olivia then took charge once my application was finalised and just as before was brilliant. Every email i sent was replied to very quickly, and i was made to feel that no query was too daft or too small!(good news as i was constantly wanting to make sure the sale was going through) I can't recommend First Mortgage enough.
Having previously gone direct to a lender for our previous house purchase we used First Mortgage Aberdeen this time and have been very happy with the service provided. Both Susan our client relationship manager and Natalie our adviser have made the process straightforward for us, helping us find the best products and keeping us fully up to date with the application process. We also really appreciated that there was no hard sell. We were simply informed of the products most suited to our requirements and left to make our own decisions with no pressure. Fantastic service from both Julie and Haydn. They made the frightening process of getting a mortgage easy and worked very hard to get everything sorted in a short period of time. Julie did a wonderful job of explaining the process and was available well into the evening to help out with any issues I had.
First mortgage are first class! Amazing service and very helpful! They take the stress out of getting a mortgage and will shop around for you to get the mortgage most suited to your individual circumstances. Much better than going round all the banks yourself. Wendy and her team have been great in obtaining a mortgage for my second home. Have used first mortgage every couple of years to remortgage on my first home as they ensure you are on the best rate!
