Five Islands Lighthouse Park is a costal park located north of the Minas Basin of Bay of Fundy. Its main attraction is the panoramic view of five islands namely Old Wife, Brothers, Cape Blomidon and Cape Split and the wooden built Lighthouse which is said to be relocated here in 2008. Apart from that the park offers 300 meters of ocean front and and about a kilometre stretch of gravelled beach. It is maintained by the Municipality of Colchester and it is a UNESCO Global Geopark part of the Cliffs of Fundy. Kids can enjoy in the park a ship like unique playground and an open picnic shelter with fire hearths for barbecue. The accessible restrooms are cleaned daily from May to October. Also, it is among the best places to enjoy the sunset. Cliff edges are shallow underneath because of erosion due to tides so avoid going close to the end of cliff. This costal area experiences world’s highest tides so walking on mudflats to the islands could be treacherous and dangerous.

This park is the perfect place to view all five of the islands. It's also a great place to stretch your legs and get some fresh air during a roadtrip. There is a play area for children, bathrooms, and a shaded area with picnic tables. The lighthouse is a charming little building with a gift shop inside and you can climb to the top for a great view of the islands. There is also a couple of signs explaining the local history of the area and the lighthouse itself. I would definitely recommend stopping to relax or take a walk on the beach.

Perfect place to see the 5 islands. We really enjoyed the beach. Seems like a great spot for clam digging too. Was so gorgeous at sunset. We actually stumbled upon this location and I can't imagine finding a better spot to enjoy the sunset in this area.

One of our favourite places to visit in Nova Scotia, every time we head up that way we always make it a point to stop here. Amazing view and very clean grounds... other then the washrooms... they were disgusting in 2015 when we visited and again this year. The student hired did not acknowledge visitors well but we understand this site does not have a manager overseeing it. Aside from that we love the place, the first year we dug clams over at the Five Islands Provincial Park and then brought them over to the Lighthouse Park to cook them over one of their cooking stations. Awesome experience that made our trip! There is a water tap for washing, games outside to play such as washer toss. We were very lucky to see the island in person that had the tunnel in it before it collapsed. High recommend stopping here... just don't use the washrooms. Will change to 5-stars if the washrooms are in a better state on our next visit.
