This company wanted half if what paid for the machine new just to diagnose it and almost as much as I paid for the machine for the repair itself. This Maytag washing machine is only 3 years old. And the \technician\ was more than happy not to have to fix it. The whole thing is a rip off. I am better off buying a new machine at this point.
