My wife and I wished to take up cycling not knowing what to buy or where to start, Flamme Rouge were just superb in every aspect talking us through our needs etc., not once did we feel pressured to buy from them. Their aftercare service was brilliant and all the members of staff always have time to help you out with any questions. My wife and I have enjoyed many great cycle rides which is thanks to our initial conversation with Jamie at Flamme Rouge.
It was my second time visiting Flamme Rouge and I really do like this shop. The staff are extremely friendly and cannot do enough to help. There is a strong sense of cycling community in the shop, which I like. It isn't just a case of going in, buying a product and leaving. I always seem to end up chatting with the staff and getting advice about cycling and potential bike upgrades. The fact they have a cafe in the shop helps create this less formal environment where everyone seems to talk cycling. Last time I was in there I got talking to one of their team riders and he was advising me about nutrition for longer rides. Perfect! They are passionate about cycling and don't turn their nose up at you just because you are new to the sport. The shop has a great vibe and it's an enjoyable experience to pay them a visit. Just remember to take change for the parking outside if you come by car. So far I have bought a helmet and some Castelli bib tights and love the products. I will definitely be spending more of my hard earned cash with them, especially in such a time where it's important to help the independent shops.
I am on my fifth Trek Bike and I wish that I’d bought them all from Flamme Rouge. The place has a really friendly, family feel to it. They take time to talk to you, answer your questions. They give great advice. The last job that I just had done, they listened to the points that I’d raised, fixed everything and did a bit more, I’m really happy, couldn’t recommend them more :).
The service was outstanding! I was helped out by mainly Joy and other members of staff throughout my purchase. My purchase was through my employer cycle to work scheme. Joy was very attentive to my requirements and guided me with what equipment to purchase. The quotation was emailed to me and any queries were answered promptly. The order process was easy and I received my bicycle within 3 days. They helped me with the adjustments to the bike and I was quickly on the road. I would like to thank the staff for their help and assistance.
