My son (age 10) really looks forward to his drum lessons with Stuart. He is very patient and gives lots of encouragement to help my son tackle more challenging drum beats. Stuart makes the lessons fun and flexible by tailoring the lessons around songs that my son enjoys playing along to. As a result my son is making great progress and gets to play along to his favourite tunes. I highly recommend Stuart - he's an excellent drum teacher.

I found Stu Smith to be an excellent drum teacher. The best I have found locally. Would highly recommend his services. Learned a lot of techniques and grooves, so much more stuff than I could of ever got off YouTube. Stu makes my lessons really enjoyable and is happy to tailor them to my requirements. To be honest he has something great to offer students of all ages and abilities. He’s a great friendly guy and wonderful player too.
I approached Stu to give me a few lessons to rekindle my interest in drumming - something I had abandoned years ago. Stu through his patience, all round ability and easy going nature gave me more than just drum lessons, he opened up a whole world of drumming with different styles and rudiment techniques. In simple terms he made it fun and something to look forward to. The only reason I stopped lessons was to move abroad, and will be getting a drum kit and carrying on playing that great instrument, with Stus advice ringing in my head. I would easily recommend Stu to anyone who has an interest in drumming - both young or old
