This place is just great. I've been there, 3 times, now, having used the ocean room all three times, and the third time really is the charm (no joke). I got the hang of the place, by my second visit. It is such a relaxing environment, with beautiful well taken care of plants, meditative artwork, a collection of books to choose to read from, while you wait, awesome health products, an understandable system of where to put your shoes, free tea to drink while you wait, etc. The float is so nice, because I grew up in CA where I had easy access to the Pacific ocean. Here, I've really been missing that aspect, of the west coast, and so I find benefit from having an oceanic re-enactment (to some extent) experience that promotes relaxation and wellness. I grew up swimming in a pool, every single summer, and so the water is pretty much my go-to in times of stress. I end up feeling so loose in my body afterwards, whereas when I begin, I feel tight and tense in so many areas of my body. I decided to purchase samples of the Colorado Hemp Honey, my 3rd visit. Apparently, Colorado Hemp Honey produces their own hemp and honey. I'm looking forward to trying it! I can say that I will be buying a membership, when I'm financially able to do so. This solo experience of relaxation is far better than taking a yoga class, in my personal opinion. Don't get me wrong, I like people; I just have a very difficult time being able to relax around them. Nature is, honestly, the best place for me to go to and relax. In the winter time, this is a very good option for me. Thanks, Float Madison!
