I had to replace existing wood from a flood in our house. I called several companies to get bids. Floor Coverings International stood out as being the easiest and most professional of them all. The owner Jan offered to come himself and bring samples. No other company I found brings that many samples in their van. Almost a mini store of choices. . Jan helped us through the whole process of selection and installation, and even provided the best pricing. I am very pleased with the whole experience and would highly recommend Jan and Floor Coverings International of La Jolla. .

We had the owner, Jens, come out to look at the job we had in mind and get us a quote. Jens was super friendly, no-pressure, and knowledgeable about every aspect of the job that we had questions about. Importantly, he really cared about the little details to make it look right as opposed to just taking the easy way out which other companies had previously suggested to us. He came back with a very competitive quote and got his crew in to start the job shortly thereafter. Once started, Chris and the crew did an excellent job and we are very happy with the end-result. I definitely recommend that you talk to these guys if you have a flooring project!

I met Jens (the owner) at a trade show and he was extremely helpful, friendly, and professional. Shortly thereafter, Richard (design professional and project manager) came out to my condo with their mobile showroom. He quickly and efficiently measured my place and then helped me select the perfect vinyl plank to fit my space and decor. I tend to get overwhelmed with home improvement and design decisions, but Richard was funny, engaging, honest, and incredibly knowledgable. Once it came time to start the project, Jens was the first person on the job to make sure things started without a hitch. I can't stress how professional and accommodating Tony (pro installer) was. He maintained consistent contact with me to update me on the progress of my flooring. It was a fairly big job, but he, Joe (installer), and Steven (installer) took great care of my condo and belongings, and performed all of the work with the utmost care and professionalism. After the project was completed, my girlfriend and I wanted a couple of the planks changed out, and Tony took care of it in a flash without any complaints. Jens and Tony would check in with me almost every day and Richard was always available to field any questions I had. If I seem effusive in my praise, it's because this was such a great experience from start to finish. I would recommend Floor Coverings International to everyone I know, and will definitely use them for any projects I have in the future. Thanks guys!
