This is a great store if you want to be set up with a proper shoe fitment. Matt spent the time to fit me with just the right running shoe. I tried on 4 styles and he recorded them on a treadmill so show me exactly what was happening as my foot struck the ground and how the sneaker corrected it.

Awesome customer service. They take their time finding the right shoes for you. They even do a free gait analysis to confirm it's the right shoe. They really know their stuff.

I have never had such a great experience buying sneakers. My wife and I are both CrossFitters and generally have worn Inov8s a minimal shoe. When I went in to see what Modern Athlete sneaker line looked like, I was a little disappointed there were no Inov8s. John suggested a Brooke shoe, tried it on and loved it right away. The is a pivoting nature to the shoe keeping my heels down, perfect for CrossFitting. Anyway since then I have bought my wife a new pair of workout shoes by NorthFace and we seem to end up at Modern Athlete every weekend. Grate store, knowledgeable / passionate staff and a great line of shoes, apparel and other workout accessories. Well worth the trip.
