It took me too long to get back and write the review I wanted to write about this place. I did my diving course here in November 2020 with my wife, our instructor was Mariana who speaks good English, super positive and inspiring. My wife found it difficult to get used to the diving and the equipment but Mariana was patient and very supportive! Today I did my first recreational dive since the course and i can say i had an amazing teacher cause i felt comfortable and in pase with 2 other divers who had 10 to 100 times more diving experience than me. Thanks Mariana for helping and guiding me on my first steps in this amazing sport!

We had an incredible dive with Jeoge and the team at Floripa dive. The weather was not perfect, but the instructors made sure we had fun and were still able to see a variety of aquatic life. We do not speak any Portuguese, but they do have one instructor who is fluent in English and was able to translate everything for us. The intro dive was great for beginners as we are....as they hold your hand under the water and help with equipment regulation. We were able to go and dive stress free! Would highly recommend!

Unfortunately the visibility wasn't good on that day but the team is really friendly and professional. Equipment is in good condition and I always felt safe during the dive. It's not cheap however.

Great location and easy to find. The closest operator to downtown. Large inflatable fits up to 11 passengers. Good engine will take anyone, from Barra da Lagoa to Ilha do Xavier in 20 minutes. This means that in 1/2 hour you are underwater. The rental equipment has a good wetsuit in several different sizes. The bcds and regulator are from well known gear manufacturer. The guide provided all the useful information to make it an enjoyable and safe dive.

Maravilhoso, super seguro, excelente instrutores, e o local é mágico. Fiquei tão atônita que não consegui nem agradecer direito aos instrutores por essa experiência incrível, obrigada Jorge que desceu comigo e me guiou no mergulho(surreal), ao André pelas fotos , orientações e por nós levar e trazer em segurança e a Paty pela paciência, dicas e compreensão comigo no mergulho snorkel, amei! Recomendo. Vocês são sensacionais.

Tetrápode !

Os instrutores são super simpáticos e passam muita confiança. As instruções são claras e boas. MAS, pedi para repetir a experiência pois não vi uma tartaruga e não foi possivel, estavamos "lá" parados e ninguem quis "me mergulhar" de novo. As águas do local não são ou nao estavam próprias para mergulho, verde e turva. Devido a isso as fotos ficaram ruins. Por falar em registro de foto/vídeo, apesar de ter pagado R 70,00, eles me passaram os vídeos com sons e logos da empresa. Outro item é que o equipamento de respiração é compartilhado de boca em boca sem troca ou higienização, em pleno covid 19!
