Good experiences with the company and wish them continued success! I have personally met and interviewed with Mat Florian Sr and Mat Florian Jr. I’ve also been around their team at holiday events and various functions throughout Southington. Friends of mine have opened a business in their building. Based on my interactions with guys like Justin, Christian, and a handful of subcontractors, they have been great to work with.

My experience with Florian Properties, specifically with Christian was absolutely great. No issues at all. When I first researched Florian Properties for our new studio space for my small business, Christian answered right away and we spoke for a while about properties that he felt may work for me when I explained what I was looking. Memory serves me, that same day I initially called him, we met up and went looking at properties that same day...looked at a bunch until I found the one that we rented officially. Christian was an absolute pleasure to work with and easy to work with! Always accommodating to my questions and concerns if any and always professional as well as prompt with responses. I had a few questions in the beginning and felt like I was a pain asking him but he always addressed them asap and professionally and that is one thing that definitely stands out about Christian as well as Florian Properties. The unit that we were in, 17 Meriden Avenue Southington, CT on the second floor was a perfect fit for our business and we're sad to say we are vacating for new endeavors for our business, but we highly recommend Christian and Florian Properties for anyone in need of leasing a commercial space in Southington, CT! I attempted to reach out to Luke several times regarding showing a property that had just been listed. It has been over a week and I have not heard back. I understand if something in what I asked warranted a response of “no,” I.e no pets, but I still feel like the professional way to handle things would be to return my message by email or phone and just let me know that no, unfortunately, pets are not allowed. Definitely not very professional or responsive.

Math Junior is one of the best person I’d ever met . I applied for a job position at his company and he went through my resume called me up on the phone , we spoke for a minute then decided to meet the same day at one of his properties. Upon meeting him we talk for a minute, went over some stuff he had to do at that property , right away he understand that I know how to do the work and hired me on the spot. I just want to say ,Thanks to Math Jr and his staff for giving such a nice opportunity and to put their trust in me from the get go.

Rented a house with friends and during our showing was told it was a 7 bedroom house even though it’s actually only a 6. Also, when we had questions or needed something, our landlord would take 24 hours to respond to texts. We were told that a team of cleaners were brought in before we moved in, but when we moved in there was still trash and misc items all over the house, as well as a used mattress still sitting in one of the bedrooms. The carpets downstairs smelled like something died and were covered in stains. Best part is, he sold the house to new owners without letting any of us know, and we didn’t find out until our new landlords randomly showed up to check out the house. I sure hope this isn’t how they usually run their business.

They falsely advertised the house as a 5 person home, then forced one of us out a couple days after we were all moving in. They constantly put myself and my roommates through extremely stressful situations and that took a toll on our performance in classes. Every time they contacted us they were nothing but unpleasant. They expected us to follow the lease contract to the word but twisted the contract’s words in their favor to get more money out of it. I do not recommend dealing with Mat Florian, Florian Properties, and Collegiate Homes LLC.
