Where do I start? I love this restaurant so much. Not sure if there is anything similar in all of brazil but for sure it’s unique in Florianopolis. Whenever I go there I get the “cheers” vibe . “A place where everybody knows your name.” Not sure if the Brazilian people would understand this reference. Most of the people that come to this place are regulars for sure . The service is top notch with most of the service staff speaking English in addition to Portuguese . If you ever get the chance to meet the owners , they are three great guys who I consider to be Brazilian success stories. Two restaurants a karaoke bar, I mean they inspire me. Food wise, it’s great. I usually get the California burrito but have got the chicken burrito before also very satisfying. Even though I don’t live in the city I’m sure they have bands that play there and have tacos events not on the menu . The only reason for 5 stars is that there aren’t more stars to give. The Moochacho is a nice Burrito diner. They specialized on Burritos as main courses, so you have to make your choice between three Burritos. I took the California one with the beef. But I almost had taken the one with Chicken, the Pollo. But for the Burrito experience it is better to have it with beef. By the way there is Veggie Burrito as well. The place itself is nice and focused on students a it is located in Trindade, Floripa’s main student’s quarter. The Burrito was tasty and good portion and there are even special deals if you order a side dish (such as tortilla chips) together with your Burrito, to get a better rice than to order it separately. The interior is nice and colorful, the staff is friendly and willing to help, and it’s also nice to spend a while on the terrace of the Moochacho. From Floripa with Love! Dr. Dr. Immanuel Fruhmann

A place with great atmosphere, staff, and food! Their simple menu is easy to understand and ensures a quality burrito every time! Their large outdoor seating area can accommodate large parties as well! They are doing the California style burrito a great service! Their Pollo Bandito is my personal favorite!
Chic Mexican restaurant with a loyal group of local students as regulars. Only burritos and tacos on the menu, but the burritos are pretty good. Prices are affordable, even by local standards. High-quality, professional service.
Best place to hang out in the island! Highly recommended.
