It's definitely one of the very special experience. It's so amazing day. We went to fish in heavy rain and big wind. Our coach Kim is a very experienced teacher. He caught the first fish at the first minute when we start fishing. We were all shocked. Later on under his instruction, we caught some fish as well in the river.Best experience ever.

The best! - I have fished with Kim for what must be 18 years, usually for several days each year, and he still manages to show me something new. He always has something up his sleeve, a new technique, water or fly, and we have caught so many fish in the most wonderful locations throughout Wales - he has the most extensive knowledge of the rivers, beats, accommodation, where and how to approach the water in all seasons. He once took me salmon fishing, and I had my first and only salmon which was was over 10lbs, and although I was completely over the moon he was more excited than me! He is great company, and although I have fly-fished for a couple of decades I am still not much above average at casting, and he is understanding but still tries to improve my skills. He just has a knack of knowing where and how to get the fish, and what I pick up from him really helps my fishing so that I enjoy fishing more, and with greater success. I only had one day with Kim in 2020, but we caught three Grayling, two over 40cms and my biggest ever at 50cms, which was on a dry fly cast with Kim's guidance closer and closer to a spot where he directed me after sighting a rising fish. Absolutely brilliant.
Kim guided me from a position of never having cast a fly before to catching several trout on dry flies & nymphs - all in one day. He is one of the most skilled anglers in the country and his knowledge of river craft is second to none. Throughout the day he was willing to share little hints and tips with me that he has amassed over a long angling career. If you are lucky enough to book a day or two of Kim’s time, he is easily capable of both instructing novices and guiding experienced anglers through Welsh waters - whilst showing them the best places to catch!
Kim is a very expeirenced fisherman and an expert in fly fishing with worldwide experience and an expert in fly fishing in Wales. He has the most comprehensive range of fishing tours, which he personally takes and happily passes his skills on to his customers and students. A pleasure to be with.
