Found Fone Wizard using a compare site and decided to go with them as they gave me one of the highest prices for my Galaxy S10. I received the delivery pack the next day and sent the phone via Special Delivery which cost me 7.50 - a free service was also an option but I wanted to ensure the phone was insured for the full value. They had offered me 270 for my device but I expected a small reduction because there was a very small chip on the frame of the phone - they received my device at around 09:00 today and the full amount has just cleared in my account (no deductions for the small chip). Less than 8 hours to receive, inspect and pay out is amazing service! I won't use anyone else when I look to sell my current phone. Highly recommended!

I wish I'd read the reviews. You know when they say something is too good to be true? It normally is. I decided to go with Fonewizard for selling my old phone as they had the highest quote that I'd seen. Their specifications claim 'reasonable wear and tear is acceptable'. My phone is 2 years old but in perfect working order, no damage, no cracked screen, fully operational. On recieving the phone they reduced the quoted price by 90 (roughly 30 percent) as they claimed my phone had 'heavy scratches' on screen. They included a photo, which I've included below. As you can see, it shows the reflection of a ceiling light and little else. I declined the re-quote, and to their credit, they did return my phone free of charge. However, multiple reviews on here reveal the 'bait and switch' technique they are clearly employing - offering the highest quotes around, and then reducing them on receipt of the goods. I would not recommend selling your phone to these guys.

Very similar experience to the various other reviews: it’s essentially a scam. They quoted me 300, but upon receiving the phone, which had lived in a case its entire life and was in perfect condition, they decided it was only worth 150. The reason: there was a spec of dust on the camera lens. It took them over a week to get it back to me. I immediately removed the spec of dust (which took me all of half a second of exhalation) and sent it to a well known, reputable, recycler who paid me 300. Don’t waste your time and money.

Mixed reviews on the web, but here's my experience. Got a quote of 50 for my daughters two year old Galaxy S9. Typical teenagers phone in that the screen was slightly cracked and it was looking a bit shabby, but I declared all that. Printed out the postage label, which they supply, so no fee. They emailed two days later to say they got the phone and the following day 50 was paid into my account. No hassles, no quibbles. So it's a positive review for me.

Quick, easy, and I got the amount that I was quoted. I wanted to sell my IPhone XR which had a cracked screen. Fone wizard quoted to highest price for a faulty/damaged phone. I entered my details on the website, printed the postage label and posted the phone. I got an email the next day confirming that they had received the phone and that the funds would be in my account after 5pm on the same day. Postage was prepaid so the only cost to me was the padded envelope in which I send the phone. Delighted with the service.
