Stopped in here after driving past thousands of times on the main road. Owner (or who I perceived to be the owner) was a complete condescending jackass. Followed us around the store talking about how "big city" people don't support local businesses. I live in St Catharines....that's hardly "big city". And I loved there from a place that makes Fonthill look big city. They have a fabulous selection of yarns & wools. As an avid knitter I thought this was fantastic, but then he asked me where I purchase these things now. Of course the only options are really Walmart, Fabricland and Micheals save for ordering online. Well that wasn't an answer he wanted to hear as he started on a rant about how I'd rather support China than small local business (that I didn't previously know existed) Left without purchasing anything even though there was a gorgeous milk glass vase I was interested in and lots of yarn. Won't be going back.
