This was a gift from my daughter, and was shared with other family and friends virtually, over Zoom. It was great fun, and we were all able to produce a delicious paella. The instruction was first class and and we picked up lots of useful tips and tricks. It was a great gift and very precious to be able to share and connect with friends and family from far and wide. A great antidote to pandemic isolation! Thank you Food at 52!

Did two masterclasses at the cookery school - Moroccan and Vietnamese. Absolutely loved our experience! John and Emily are great hosts, who's really passionate about world cuisine and the magic behind its preparation. Jean-Marc, the experienced head chef at the school, will teach you some professional techniques you will be able to employ after. You will undoubtably have amazing time in fun company and enjoy your meal paired with a glass of wine! Can't wait to do another class!

Outstanding, I had an incredibly fun time. I received high quality feedback on my technique, with the knife, preparation and cooking to name a few. I have cooked dishes with simple ingredients with results that were restaurant quality. I have been inspired and enabled to cook food at a higher level. All the staff were incredibly friendly and highly knowledgeable and the kitchen environment was excellent, the 3 and a half hours flew by. I will definitely go again, although the course is called kitchen basics. There is definitely stuff to learn for even those with experience (I am a confident home cook but not a professional)

We did a virtual paella making course with John and Emily as a team building event and it was excellent. They organised the delivery of top quality ingredients, they were both seemingly knew everything there is to know about this history of paella, and the finished dish was brilliant! Would highly recommend them, and am looking forward to hopefully doing a in-person session when things return back to normal.

I’ve wanted to do a cooking course here for several years. I finally took the plunge after lockdown and booked into the South Indian full day course. Emily, Jean and the team were excellent. Lovely company and a great variety of dishes. Thanks for a thoroughly enjoyable Saturday afternoon.
