Very well presented and tidy. There is a large cafe/reception area to pay for access to the trails and get food, unfortunately some of the other attractions were closed due to current restrictions but it was still a lovely day out. The gruffalo trail while short, is well layed out and all the statues are carved on site which adds to the allure. Will certainly visit again in the future when visiting the area.

Highly recommended.. A must visit if you are in the Forest of Dean. Cafe on site for tea and homemade cakes. Take a walk round Soudley Ponds after too. Breathtaking.
Very nice Gruffalo trail and picnic area. Staff very pleasant and the coffee shop have a nice selection. A lovely morning out. Would recommend
We had a fabulous day out with our family. What a fantastic place, the Victorian Museum is great along with the cottage. We visited on Saturday 29th August and saw part of the demonstration of the earth burning for making charcoal as it was done in the Victorian times, the people doing it were all volunteers and very informative, we would love to see the end product but as it won't be until Monday and we won't be in the area it's not possible. Our grandson loved the Gruffalo trail he thought it was amazing Well done to everyone involved, well worth a visit.
Great place to learn about the history of a lesser known part of the UK. Super welcoming staff and a lovely location. Great place to take children for a walk in the woods a visit to the museum and a trip down the Gruffalo trail all low key but Heritage in the name says it all. This is NOT Disneyland (thank goodness)
