Pros: 1. Haven't been here since I was a teen. Glad to be back. 2. These back eyed peas are slammin....yummy 3. The cabbage was good. 4. The cornbread is awesome, esp in the blackeyed peas 5. Sweet Tea was sweet. 6. Coca Cola was without carbonation. 7. Pork Chop cooked to order.. 13, which is average for Soul Food. I dont worry about cost too. Con: 1. I agree with other Reviews, the staff is NOT friendly. They never smile! 2. The chicken tasted old. 3. Mac n Cheese is a no go, tastes like cheese eggs w/o salt.
The best Southern cooking you could possibly experience is served here.
