Great memories and wonderful sites. Site was fairly level. Ample room. Power hookup high enough to allow surge suppressor. Water pressure decent. Sewer hookup decent as well. I got to see the colors in Forestport and Kayuta Lake area at their peak. This is a wonderful campground with lots of options. There are cabins, tent spots as well as full hookups. There is a boat launch along with canoe and kayak rentals. Lots to do for the kids with a basketball court and play area. For dog walkers, lots of places to take your four legged friend and stretch the legs. A trip on this last weekend in September was fabulous. The smell of the falling leaves. The campfire keeping you toasty. Walks and relaxation. They had a "make your own ice cream sunday" bar with lots of toppings for all taste buds. Campground closes in October so be sure that if you can't stop this year, this location will be on your list next year.

Our family just returned from our first time camping at Kayuta. We are seasoned campers, but have never been here before. This campground is family friendly, clean, and safe. We were impressed with the management, how well kept the grounds were, and how the rules were enforced. We always felt comfortable letting our kids play and explore the area. It was quiet and peaceful family camping. We will be back here soon.

Very pretty campground but I didn't think the people who worked here were very nice

From the moment I called to book a last minute overnight stop this place was extremely welcoming and friendly. The people that stay there are nice and campers if you know what I mean. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. The quiet hours are enforced but it seemed to be a little selective, which is why I didn't give 5 stars.

My family and I recently rented three campsites for the long weekend. Thank goodness we knew each other and were family because the sites are small and offer no privacy between them. The bathroom was clean, but while the shower was running all of the toilets bubbles making one think the septic may be having issues. On Saturday night no level of quiet hours were respected. I am not talking kids laughing or people talking. A multi site brawl broke out with screaming and swearing. The office / staff were called and it was over an hour AFTER everything ended that anyone bothered to show up. We made the best of it while there but will not be returning. Many other sites within 30 minutes that have the same amenities and access to the outdoor activities we were looking for.
