Somehow I accidentally submitted a blank Google review, randomly set to three stars. Only knew about it when the owner responded. To set the record straight, we had a great time at Fort Augustus and would recommend it. Apologies to the owner and anyone previously misled by an apparently poor review.

We have stayed here several times over the past 5 years, using different apartments. The location is beautiful, the apartments are exceptional and they are kept to a very high standard. Thanks for lovely holidays.

Luxury apartment located in historic abbey on shores of Loch Ness. We had a wonderful 9 nights staying in this well equipped apartment. Gary & Clare Lee were very efficient and it was easy to make all the booking arrangements with them. On arriving we were met by Mike who gave us a comprehensive orientation to the Abbey and Fort Augustus. We really appreciated the information he gave us. Each day we enjoyed taking the short walk into Fort Augustus to watch the boats going through the locks and talking to some of the interesting people who were crewing. We enjoyed eating at the Boat House restaurant located on the shore of Loch Ness within the grounds of the Highland Club. We also ate at the Loch Inn. We drove to Inverness on the A82, however thoroughly enjoyed driving on the otherside of the Loch. We stopped at the Falls of Foyers and had a delicious Scottish breakfast there. Driving to Eileen Donan Castle is well worth the trip and on to the Isle of Skye. We highly recommend the apartments in the Highland Club as a peaceful location and as a base for exploring the area.

What a cracking place! Appartements are always clean and comfortable. It's a lovely place to stay for families and kids love it too. It's a very good location for visiting the highland and meet Nessie. We are always pleased to go and enjoy our stay.

The Kintail apartment is just perfect for a family or group. Spacious, clean, well-maintained and always well-stocked, it is a home away from home. The facilities like the swimming pool are excellent and it is within a good distance of lots of must-see places in the Highlands, like Urquhart Castle, Eilean Donan and Skye. We keep going back, and will continue to do so...we are still hoping to see Nessie!
