Nice Airport and People.

The terminals here, especially terminal 3, really needs to be renovated. While there are fairly new chairs, the building essentially is from the 1970s or 1980s and it really shows. There aren’t many choices in terminal 3 to eat, with a 3 vendor small food court, and a chili’s.
Curb side check in. Happy employees. Very short security lines. Plenty of seating at gates. Easy to find one's way around. Do not have to walk miles as in other US airports.
New building, terrible facilities. Very few stores, places to eat close extremely early when you have flights that leave late at night, and there is not enough seating by any means. The TSA agents are quite rude, and they leave a less than pleasure impression even before you cross security. A huge disappointment for a new terminal (4), and a really awful way to start your trip or to remember as a last image of a city.
Great airport
This gate smells like it looks. They have a table with outlets but half of them don't work. We ate at the full service Chili's, it was just okay. The bathrooms were surprisingly not that bad.

A compact and clean airport with nice folks and just enough amenities. Why not a higher rating? Comeon! It is an airport. An airport can only be so good. But, as these things go, this is a polite and friendly place to catch a plane. My favorite overheard, over the loudspeaker: Janet, you better get to your plane or we are gonna leave you. We love you but we ain't gonna wait for you.
