I brought my car in because of a defective rear oxygen sensor on the exhaust system. They quoted me 363 which included 0.7 hours labor. After they got the car on the lift, they called me into the shop because they found a problem. The wiring harness was ripped and destroyed. The mechanic said he tried to unscrew the sensor but it was crossed threaded. Now they would have to drop the exhaust system to complete the repair for an additional 5-6 hours of labor. I said that he had to have slipped with the wrench and did the damage. He then changed his story saying he never touched it when he saw the damage. Then how did you know it was crossed threaded? They would not agree to right their mistake and now I will have to take it to another facility and pay extra for their mistake I pointed to the name on their shirts that says Honest. They are anything but honest. I will make sure to never recommend them in the future. They did not make any effort to stand up and take responsibility

On first experience, was highly positive. .. Austin (guy I talked to, on phone) was very helpful ... Turned out my Chrysler 200 AWD V6 just needed a good alignment. Gave car back to me, and car goes arrow straight - Tech really nailed it! When I walked in it was nice to have a person at the desk who I immediately knew REALLY knows cars ... I was talking to her (Brittany) about camber, and alignment, and she had definite knowledge of possible problems, that happen. .. That's a real good feeling, at a shop ... Because I've experienced the opposite. Haven't had anything big done, there, yet ... but the place made a good first impression :)
Radiator expansion tank blew apart on my 650i on a Saturday while out and about. I usually use a BMW only mechanic but wasn’t close to home and this location was listed as BMW repairs. I had the car towed and took a chance. Great communications between shop and myself during entire process. Part had to be ordered and repair fixed. They cared about the car and the client! Very Glad I found them when I did. Thank you
Used Honest-1 Auto Care to install a tow hitch I purchased for my Lexus NX. They were not sure how long it would take or what the installation would involve, since I bought the item myself. However, they were able to fit me in right away and quoted me before starting any work. The instructions online for installing the tow hitch said it was a 35 minute install, which I thought was off since you had to relocate the exhaust. Must be much easier when you have the right tools and an experienced mechanic, because the estimate was dead on at 30 minutes. Honest-1 charged me 60 for the installation, which is very reasonable compared to what I’ve seen from other places. I will definitely use them again.
A few months ago I took my daughter's Hyundai Sonata to Honest-1 Auto Care in Fort Mill for an oil change. The staff were very attentive and everything seemed fine until we brought the car back home. They had not tightened the bolt on the oil pan and oil leaked all over our driveway. We brought the car back and they fixed the issue, but I still have an oil stain on my driveway.
