Saw this guy for diabetes a couple times. I was learning how to count carbs and on my second visit he literally elevated his voice at me as if I was a child because I did not follow his plan perfectly. I was embarrassed for him. There are a lot of really good doctors out there and he was not one. Keep looking and best of luck to you.

My husband and I both are patients of Dr. Hatchell and we both adore him. He shows care and interest to our concerns and more importantly to us, listens.

Dr. Hatchell is a good doctor, but its frustrating trying to call the office. I just called at 4:34pm and waited on hold for over 13 minutes to have a recording come on stating that they could not take my call and that I could not leave a message due to the mailbox being full. Frustrating.....

I have been a patient for roughly 7 years and in the past year, I've lost my dog, both my parents and my son was diagnosed with bipolar...so I started having severe anxiety. Now. Dr. Hatchell had already prescribed an antidepressant and an anti anxiety medication a few years prior and I advised him my kolonopin needs to be higher dosage as my mom is now dying and I find myself taking more than 1...he refused, kept me at the same dosage but increased the amount to 60 instead of 30....well after spending 3 weeks at hospice, watching my mother die, I did take more than 2 a day as again the low dosage was doing nothing at this point. I've run out and am not due for a refill so I called the office in tears, literally in the middle of an anxiety episode and was told no, I had to go in to see him. I said I plan to next month so can I just get 1 more month and I'll make the appointment for next month as that is when I'm due. Was told I'd get a 5 day supply to last until I could go in. I lost it, have always loved this office but gotta say to be treated as a drug addict after knowing me for so long and knowing the severe amount of stress I'm experiencing all at once and to deny me my medication....ya I'm DONE with this office. Sorry but you just lost a long time patient

My Husband was seen for a very painful issue. Dr Hatchell said he would give a RX for Antibiotics if pain worsened. His pain continued. After finishing antibiotics, he called Dr. back to say they weren't working either, at which point the Dr said he would make him an appointment for either CT or US. Well, we heard nothing. My husband had an out of town trip, could barely walk or sit down. He called their office again and was told they would look into it and the Dr. " has 3 days to call it you back". Again, he was extremely painful. After 4 calls over almost 2 week period,he found out that the doctors request was still sitting on a desk. I'm a nurse, and feel the office has been severely negligent in his care. We are very disappointed.

Dr. Hatchell is pretty strait forward. I agree on some of the difficulties on getting in to an appointment every once in a while, but as a physician he does his job. He's a no gimmicks tell it like it is Dr.
