I shared the very same experience twice, (2012 & 2013). Completely disheartened by those proudly claiming to be Christ followers yet berate and guilt mothers about their circumstances. This is nothing more than a sad attempt at a non-profit, run by a husband & wife who have lost sight of why they first chose this mission & ministry in the first place. I had made several attempts to call the nonprofit when they were originally located on Metro Pkwy, to whi never returned my calls. They were in-between locations and moving the warehouse. Completely justified, but for weeks at a time in between answering machine pick-ups. When I did finally manage to make it to their current location, there was an out to lunch sign on the door (1 1/2 hour lunch)???? What?? Ok so I made it there , and was very thankful that this was even an option. They made me sign a promissory contact sheet stating I was either working or going to school full-time and my income was below xyz. They had very very limited clothing for infants and toddlers and what they did have was so sad I wouldn't put it on a rag doll(2013). I should have known better than to trek to no ft Myers for a dog and pony show. Especially, since the first time I made contact while they were still on Metro, they tried to shoe me away and seemed bothered by my presence. I did not get \ knocked up\ it was planned, what wasn't planned was my fiance's increased violent tendencies toward me and my unborn child, . I worked 2 jobs, spent all my money on utilities,my mortgage, and special baby formula because it was the only brand she could tolerate. AND TO BE JUDGED & MADE TO FEEL LIKE I WAS A CALUS BENEATH THE SAMARITAN WOMAN'S FEET. John 4:1-42 Jesus meets a Samaritan woman at a well PLEASE, donate your money, goods, and services to other well meaning non-9profits which you have investigated with due diligence.

I had the unpleasant experience to meet the people who were at this place. I went in to help someone else, and I'm still in shock. Not in a million years I expected to find, in a place like that, such judgmental, uncaring, rude, insensitive people. They went on to tell me that they are just not about to help people who don't want to help themselves, and she should go ask help from the man who knocked her up. Of course I told them what I thought of them, and their response was to call the police. I hope other people have a better experience, but all i can say is that I hope to never meet people like them and that they may rot in hell, which seems like where they came from.
