I am positive this man is running a fraudulent business. There is absolutely no reason to charge insurance companies for a “medical exam” when it was in fact a routine eye exam. I see this has happened to many people in the past, and should have done better research to avoid getting scammed. No wonder he had a movie theater in his house. He gets as much money as he can by charging you the most he can saying your insurance doesn’t cover it because it’s a medical exam. I wish I could give this business less than one star.

Dr. Hutchins is great. Very educated and informative. He is personable and I actually look forward to seeing him during our visits. He doesn’t rush you like a lot of doctors. I had been going to the same optometrist for years and dreaded it. It was like the guy needed me to hurry and pick something so our appointment would be over. Dr. Hutchins, on the other hand, took the time and discovered I was wearing the wrong prescriptions the entire time (go figure). My migraines are gone and I can see better than I ever have. I highly recommend him. I’ve noticed a lot of people complain about getting their eyes dilated which I understand can be annoying but he knows what he’s doing. If anything ask him to explain why he is doing it and you’ll understand it is only to better help him get your precise prescription and he’s also checking to make sure your eyes are healthy. My only complaint is the scheduling and wait time.

I would give this doctor and all of their employees a (- 10 stars) if I could. I went in for a routine check up to get new glasses. They said my eye-med insurance wouldn't cover it so they billed me for a \medical procedure\ for 289.00. Then they turned around and sent eye med a bill for 99.00 for my prescription. These people are crooks! Do not go there for anything!! Totally turned off customer from June of 2020
