I have went one time for free skate and also they were just great to me. They new that it was my first time do as soon as I walked in they told me what to do and where to go. The only thing that I would change is that you cant have sticks and things like that for open skate, but that is ok. It makes seance.

My first time skating at this rink was for my 30th birthday. I called ahead and the scheduler worked with me to ensure I would be able to skate during the public skate hours with my group. I didn't have a large enough group to justify renting an entire rink, so public skate would be just fine. It required some planning and discussion but I was on the schedule. Well, their schedule changed later on and the manager called to let me know they would be staying open after hours and will provide a free private skate rink to honor my original request. They didn't have to give me a private rink, they didn't have to stay open late, and clean up after my group, but they did. Skating rinks are often at the mercy of the teams that play on the ice and the groups that rent so I was very impressed with their service they provided for a small group of adults that just wanted an hour of skating. There is a restaurant/bar for parents to hang out at while the kids burn off some energy. There are roller hockey leagues as well as ice hockey leagues. The skate rentals are better than other places and its priced well. They offer hockey and figure stating classes that my fiance took for his budding hockey hobby and he really enjoyed them. It's just a nice place to beat the heat and get in some fun exercise.

Nothing healthy on menu for non meat and grease eaters. They charge an 8.00 minimum per person to seat up there. For a non drinker they have nothing to offer on there menu for health conscious families.
