A great walk which is steep to start with as you climb the hill. Watch out for the butterflies and mice as they go about thier business. The silence is wonderful and you do feel very peaceful as you walk the the trees.

There is a lovely nature trail that takes you up over the hill into the nature reserve that can be found a couple meters just outside of this little car park with amazing views of area. The trail leads about 2 km up the road. From there you can easily walk back to the car park along the road. Whilst walking this trail there is plenty of opportunity to spot golden eagles, Sea eagles and if you are lucky peregrine falcons. Well worth a trip if you are in the area and want to go for a nice walk

Stunning area with tidal waters, bird song and an atmosphere second to none. Beautiful beyond compare.

Great scenery and wild life

The small birds were very quiet initially, because it had recently stopped raining heavily. We ultimately heard wood warblers and tree pipits. The hooded crows were having an exciting time with a sparrowhawk. We saw pine marten dung. The car park could do with a sign saying the path begins fifty yards up the road.
