I had a staph infection that had led to a rash that nobody i went to could figure out. At this point, my leg was more or less ravaged after months and months or failed treatment. I was at my wit's end and felt like a leper. Within weeks she had cleared up everything and sent me out the door with a care plan that's kept me tip-top since. It was such a relief and I can't thank her enough. I'm a person who is completely reluctant when stepping into medical offices, but Fortson Dermatology was nothing but a great experience.

Had some pre-cancerous spots treated with radiation at Fortson's Skin Care Center and they have never properly healed. She consulted with an outside \expert\ who endorsed the treatments. Problems in billing Medicare. Not a place I want to use ever again and I would not recommend it at all.

I'm not normally a eview\ person; but in this case my care was so extraordinary and beyond my expectations that I felt it was warranted. I have had an ongoing skin rash that had totally baffled by family physician for more than 8 months; we had tried steroids, antibiotics, and various ointments without success. As the issue worsened my doctor started down a path suspecting that I might be having an allergic reaction to something, but it was all a guess. Out of frustration I went to Dr Fortson, and on my first visit her experience led to a diagnosis and treatment plan that totally eliminated the issue in just two weeks. I was absolutely amazed! You pay a doctor for their expertise, and for skin issues all I can say is that dermatology is her element. She knew instantly precisely what was needed, and in less than an hour she had put me on a path to being cured; two weeks later my skin is back to normal. I only wish I had gone to her sooner.

I have to say I had a good experience with this office. Other than like any doctor appt where you wait past your scheduled time. Standard with doctors and although annoying seems to be this way since the beginning of my time anyways. But out of curiosity I decided to read reviews before hand and one caught my eye. And after my experience I felt the need to comment. Brock lee goes on and on how she was insulted about her facial acne and how she eats may not have anything to do with it but she knows for a fact what we est does and so in her case must be the same. So looked at her history of reviews. She has a total of 3. 2 of which is saying how great Wendys is, and then the one bad one on her dermatologist appt. Well just gonna put it out there. Seems like an isdue of credibility to me and a lack of real intelligence on her part and anyone who takes her review serious. Here I am with skin cancer and she is whining about some comment about her facial acne. Well you are at a dermatologist office so to them its like a tire shop talking tires. And maybe had they known youre a big fan of Wendy's they might of agreed your diet could play a role. Or maybe since the doctor is fsr more educated Im sure she knows something you dont Mrs lee

We are very pleased with Dr. Fortson. She saw both my adolescent children and was extremely knowledgeable. She took the time to spend with each girl. She very clearly explained everything she thought would benefit each child And why. She was very thorough about plans, procedure, prices.
