I came in about a month ago strictly for information on how the Army can be beneficial for my life. I met and sat with Staff Sergeant Lackovic, First name Shaun. He was really helpful and gave me answers to every questions I asked. I later took a practice ASVAB that same day. Embarrassing to say, but I did really bad at it. Instead of leaving the office discouraged. Lackovic helped me on how I can improve my scores, and two weeks later. I had taken the practice ASVAB again. I went up 20 points. I later did my homework, as to what he like to call it, and from there, just a lot of debate of whether I should or should not join. After coming down to it, I figured I'd like to join so that I can better my life and future. SSG Lackovic later scheduled me to go to MEPS a week from then. Hadn't been for me studying for one more week before MEPS and taken the actual ASVAB, scoring 7 points higher. I probably would not have the career I have chosen (13M).
