I understand this church already has a plethora of negative reviews, and my review will sadly also fit into that criteria. First Baptist of Fountain, FL, under the pastorship of James Sharkey, refuses to pay their bill for services already rendered. Three invoices have been sent out, and a recorded (with his permission) conversation with the pastor. Before hanging up on me, he informed me that they won't be paying us for services already rendered, claiming he never stated we would be paid. James Sharkey, however, told us on numerous occasions we would be financially compensated for all of our work with church tithings. Not a single dollar was ever given to us after a few months of hard work, and we were forcefully removed from the church by the paid* pastor, James Sharkey. There have also been false rumors that have gotten back to us by Betty Green that there are supposedly videos of us drinking beer and smoking cigarettes inside the church sanctuary. Not only have we asked to see such videos, our requests for proof of such a horrible accusation has been denied. Because of this false slander, deformation of character, breaking verbal contract of compensation for services already rendered, our band has sadly been told by the pastor himself to "do what you have to do" in the context of suing Sharkey and the church. It's extremely disappointing that a church that is supposed to represent Jesus Himself does such a poor job by manipulating those in music ministry, lying to them and breaking promises, and judging/rejecting anyone who thinks differently than they do. This church is also surprisingly a part of the Southern Baptist Convention, which teaches to pay their ministers. For these reasons and many more, I can not recommend this church to anyone.

The pastor is the definition of a fake Christian, shame on you, and I'll be drafting a letter to your baptist association, for what you did to those people broken down in your parking lot, asking for your resignation. Do us all a favor and never preach again "THAT WHICH YOU DO UNTO THE LEAST OF MY PEOPLE, THAT I SHALL DO UNTO YOU'
