The Woodmaster

If you're willing to drive 5-10 minutes south from fountain for basic needs then you'll be happy. The staff I've interacted with are super friendly and the prices are better than anything north. It's not fancy, but worth the trip to save some .

I have lived here in Fountain for 16 years. I work in Springs so I pass by a bunch of different liquor stores on the way home. I always try to support my community and local businesses if I can. I have been going to this liquor store since I moved here. The ownership has recently changed and seemed to be fine for at least a few years. I spend about 50 to 60 a week at this liquor store and know the workers in there as well as have interacted with the one of the owners. The last few times I have went in there I have dealt with the owners wife which has been a bad experience. No hi or welcome in very short and watches me like I am going to steel something. I went in there last to get a bag of ice and she told me I have to buy more then that at least 5 worth of something. As I stated before I spend well over 200 a month in that store. Needles to say I am very disappointed with her attitude and you would think that the amount I spend in the store would be enough to allow me to get a bag of ice with my card. I will no longer be going to the store instead I will be goin a block away and spend my money there.
