My mother’s room was crowded with a commode, hospital bedside table which was supposed to be her dresser with drawers. After requesting a proper dresser and bringing one in, the owner came up with one so we could put mom’s poster, pictures and personal items on it for her to see. The one shared bathroom was extremely small. The door was open without the ability to close it for the caretaker to assist. The rooms are small and down hallways with no privacy. The staff did not want family to observe these rooms. Ground up hotdogs, bologna and cheese sandwiches appear nothing like the picture on this website. The pictures on the website appear to be from a higher-class residence. The living room area was clean. Residents were put to bed extremely early. The TV in my mother’s room never worked as we were promised it would. I witnessed my mother sitting in the wheelchair in very awkward, uncomfortable positions and had to request the staff to sit her up properly. I, along with hospice nurses reminded their staff “If they don’t look comfortable, they are not comfortable”. The owner left for Syria 2 days after mom was moved in. I was not told about this initially. The owner returned after 20 days and did not quarantine. The sign outside the door specifically says: if you have travelled outside of the country you will need to quarantine for 14 days. I would give a 1 star for living room cleanliness.
