We came here once before and although we expected more of it, we liked it at that time. The atmosphere was ok and the son of the owner worked there at that time, he was a nice man. But apparently now, it's only the owner and his wife, he is really an arrogant and unpleasant man (who also refuses to speak a word of English as "French is the language of his restaurant"), clearly trying to earn the maximum while delivering average quality. He's also not nice towards his wife. While there where still several free tables left, we also saw him telling to new guests who had booked a table, that they didn't have a reservation. The guests even showed him the proof of the phone call to his restaurant but he persisted stubbornly and even became mad claiming that his restaurant is so good that it's always full and it was impossible they booked earlier that day. We were there at least 1.5 hour after he refused that booked table and the tables remained just empty, not a busy restaurant at all... We also booked that day so it was clear that he was lying... In our eyes there was nothing wrong at all with those guests. We think he just doesn't like children and because he's alone for the service, he wants to be picky and dares even to refuse people who made a reservation and travelled a long way to get there. He seemed to care more about his dog, which he constantly carries up and down the stairs. We can only hope he washes his hands after that. We never come again!

We are very unsatisfied about this restaurant. We booked a table well in advance for 2 adults and 2 children (10 years old) and got this booking confirmed by phone. When we arrived on time after a long trip and dressed very properly, according to the owner we didn’t have a reservation. There were several free tables left outside and inside most were even still empty,... Even more, the owner became arrogant and angry with us! We heard his wife or a female co-worker even say angry to him this happened so many times before. Instead of proposing us a solution for their mistake, it was obvious he wanted us out there immediately. When other guests were watching us he even dared to say very loud that we weren’t open for any alternative solution while he never proposed one. Being Belgians we speak French perfectly, however we spoke Dutch between us and he even dared to say that Only French was the allowed language in his restaurant. Our kids really couldn’t understand the anger of the owner, one of them even almost started crying. We went away and for sure will never come here again. The owner is really an arrogant, unfair man.

This restaurant has a very good reputation; knowing this I was disappointed. Very limited choices on the menu, no clear style, limited quality. Starter was nice but nothing special, for the main course I decided to eat the "poulpe" and this did not taste very good - it was a big disappointment, dessert (chocolate parfait) was very nice but I'm not sure if they produced this in their kitchen!? The settings are amazing: Secluded location within a big olive garden - very nice service by Fanette and the owner was very helpful too. We even staid in the hotel for 2 nights - visually a nice room - unfortunately the hotel had been renovated with very cheap substance - a place like this should do better. In the end I discovered, that they had very good beds - I slept like an angel. It hurts me to give only 3 stars but for my opinion they do not deserve more

A great surprise. The attention to every detail from the setting, the grounds, the building, the interior and exterior dining areas carried thru to the service and the food. Presentation and quality of the plates were deserving of 5 plus. Rates as the best meal we have experienced in our last two weeks in France. Thank you to La Table de Fanette for a perfect meal and a great memory.

It’s very a very French small restaurant. I personally like the fact that it is very small with a limited amount of tables. Expect to have a maximum of 15 guest for the night. Therefore you should definetly book in advance especially in the summer. The restaurant is run by a couple, the owners and they do everything themselves. Therefore you should go there too enjoy the beautiful view and great food, but don't expect things to go quickly, your mindset should definetly be 'take your time and relax!' I went with my wife ane we loved the food and the vibe of this place. We went for the truffle menue which was really good. I would advice to go there as soon as it opens at 7:30 so you can enjoy the view and light as the sun comes down for as long as possible. Overall a really great 'provençal' expérience. We will definitely come back when we come to this beautiful part of France again.

Very rude staff! The owner did not want to speak english with us saying: "here we speak french, the clients have to adapt to my restaurant". What a pretentious man. The overpriced food is very basic and the service incredibly slow. BAD
