We work in partnership with God, 30 area churches and people of all faiths and races to develop communities for people in need by building and renovating houses to create home-ownership opportunities. Our fundamental premise is to help others by providing a hand up, not a handout. As an affiliate, we are a grass roots organization, independently operated to serve our local area community. While operating under the greater Habitat Covenant, we independently coordinate all aspects of Habitat home building in our area, including fundraising, building site selection, partner family selection and support, house construction, and mortgage servicing. With the gracious support of individual, corporate and other non-profit sponsors/partners, we have proudly served the Fox Valley communities for over 30 years. We are continually exploring new ways to generate the necessary revenue and sponsorship to enable us to create affordable housing for those in need.
