Such a horrible experience. I joined January 31, 2012 through the website. I was told that I would recieve a phone call to come in to sign membership agreement and to schedule orientation. They never called. I waited three days and then I called. Several occasions I called with no answer and left messages that were not returned. Finally was able to talk with someone and set up a time to go in. So I went in and set up my membership. After that I tried to schedule a time to go in for orientation. Be a true newb to working out, I felt I needed it to avoid injury and to maximize my work out. They told me that I would be contacted within two weeks to set up orientation. I explained my position and they said they would try to get me in sooner. Two weeks went by and I was never contacted. I called and explained that I was terribly disappointed. I was assured that I would be contact by Stephanie the next week to set up my orientation. Again that never happened. I decided to go in and walk on the treadmill. Seeing as I had paid for the membership I thought I should just go work out. I finally called and asked to cancel my membership and the person whom I spoke with said that he would have to check and see if I was actually called or not to come in for orientation. No one called back. I finally called and talk to Stephanie (for the first time) and she told me that she DIDN't call me. Big surprise, so then I told her I wanted a refund. She said she would look into it. A week goes by again no phone call to let me know. I have since called twice to talk to the owner who never returns my calls. And to top it all off they are still charging me my membership fee even though I am not in a contract, I have called to cancel, and I have demand a refund. Now it looks like my only option is going to court and disputing future charges.
