I tasted the salted caramel chocolate. Way to sweet with no balance. Tasted some other samples too. Sorry, was just not impressed. I compared it with international standards and just did not meet those standards. We did receive friendly service and we felt welcomed.

The chocolates we had was ok. Was not very impressed. The 1 hour drive we had to take was not worth it. They had advertised chocolate tasting but when we wanted to do that with our son it was not offered. When asked why it was still advertised they couldn't give me a good enough reason. Dont see myself going back

We had a lot of fun at the Huguenot Fine Chocolate shop. We wanted to do a chocolate tasting and found that this location had a couple of tasting times. We walked in and were amazed by the variety that was there. Our guide was fantastic and had a lot of personality and knowledge. The chocolate was delicious and we were so happy about the variety. We did note that the staff at the checkout was a bit quiet and not too personable but the great presentation we received made up for it! Definitely recommend checking out the chocolate tasting.

Nice little chocolate shop with a chocolate class in the upstairs area. They have an assortment of chocolates in the shop downstairs, along with some other food / spices for sale. Upstairs is a classroom (and their workroom). We were able to take a chocolate making class that was very informative and fun. Our instructor Natalie, was great at keeping everyone entertained from the 7 year old to the 78 year old. She went through the process of where caco beans came from (showing us the beans) and proceeded through the steps of refining the beans into chocolate. At each appropriate step there was samples to taste and at the end we got a small chocolate to take with us.

The great personality of the lady who was giving the presentation as well as her common knowledge and the rate at wgich she was able to give answers made this chocolate tasting yet another tick on my bucket list that was ticjed off well. Definitely will be doing a round there again.

So many chocolates to choose from and each more delicious than the other. A must stop when going to or through Franschhoek. Friendly staff. Remember your mask and sanitiser is available at the entrance
