I had the fantastic experience of dealing with Jackie, from Penchant, in designing earrings and in transferring the diamonds from my engagement ring into a more practical eternity ring. I don't tend to wear a lot of jewelery, so had been dithering for several years on various options. What drew me to Penchant Design was their wonderful daisy jewelery, and while I didn't end up going with that design, I am so happy with how they were able to transform my engagement ring into a piece of jewelery I wear every day. My little heart 'keeper' earrings are also a daily fixture, which I love. Thank you so much to Jackie and the talented crew behind her!!!

For many years we wanted to do something special for our daughters, to let them have that little something on them that reminds them that they are part of a loving family 24/7, specially as they are leaving the nest and starting their own lives after university. Three years ago, I came across Penchant Design in Franschhoek after a breakfast in this lovely town. The daisy design immediately helped us make up our minds for what we want to make for our daughters, and we have finally had the 3 rings made, which symbolises 3 daisies (mom and daughters), with a band (dad) that keeps it all together. We presented the rings to our daughters on Christmas day and they love it!!!! It is a permanent fixture on our hands. It has the exact effect I wanted it to have and it is gorgeous. Everyone notices our stunning rings and we are proud to announce where they were made and how happy we are with the support, design and ultimate delivery of the rings at short notice. We could not have asked for a better result. Our ideas were combined with the daisy design and the rings are 110% what we expected them to be. They far outweigh our greatest expectation of how we thought they would look as a finished product. The fact that they understood exactly what we wanted and delivered on their promise, is a trait one does not find easily in any industry. After the completion of our ‘family rings’, we had more items transformed/redesigned and manufactured at Penchant design and again we are extremely happy with the results. Thank you for delivering exactly what we asked for, assisting in redesigning and recreating items I love, and finally allowing me to conclude an idea I had for many years. Our greatest appreciation for everything you have done for us.
For many years, we have spent a few vacation days in Franchhoek every year and the visit to " Penchant" is always firmly scheduled and is awaited by us with great pleasure. Many years ago, I bought my first Daisy ring there and every year new, very special, and much admired pieces of jewelry were added. On our last visit we had jewelry from my mother-in-law from the 70's remade. Jackie made very competently creative and modern suggestions that we enthusiastically agreed to and they were done in short order. I wear the pieces daily and they have been admired many times. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Penchant.

I asked Penchant Design if they could make a special birthday present for my husband . I wanted an "Elephant Hair" Bracelet made in silver with yellow gold knots! Not an easy task! The result was beautiful .... All staff at Penchant are delightful and a pleasure to deal with.

Penchant Design and Jackie designed and produced a engagement ring for my fiancée. The entire process from initial meeting until delivery was a smooth and professional customer experience!
