Not willing to work with client billing during the pandemic. Membership cancellation process terrible. They don't listen to YOU and don’t care with a smile on their face.

Amazing place to work out and dedicate yourself.

The staff is good, but not great. Locker rooms are big. Lots of lockers. But the gym itself is tiny. Seems very clustered and compact. It really is a shame they closed the key parkway/RT 40 location. Personally I had to switch gyms. They didn’t offer the space or the convinces of other gyms. Right now as is, I wouldn’t recommend to others.

This Gym is where I started through out the years. They never let you fail. Very friendly and Respectful. Very Organized and Very Clean. Thanks for Team Work Who takes care of this place. Once a Gold always Gold for Life. Go out there and train at Gold Gym. You won’t be disappointed. Because I know. Yes equipment may be torn off from 100th of people within few days. Give them a break and allow them take steps find solutions. I prefer Old school then New School. I try all Gold Gyms plus Many other Brands from Frederick to D.C.

If you care at all about COVID masking for you or a loved one, avoid this place completely. The staff guy in the AM doesn't bother to wear a mask (even as he leans in to take your temperature). Entire groups of people maskless throughout the day and I've only seen one staff member that is ever willing to say anything. No wiping down of equipment either. This place is awful.

Definitely wouldn't go here. Was working out of town in the area and wanted a weekly pass and they wanted 60 for the week. Was not impressed with the facility at all

The miscommunication is not right or fair. This is not the time or season for any miscommunication when dealing with a member's money. It is almost like you (Carl or karl) from Westview care nothing about taking care of the members. Long story, try to be short. After the gym opened back up around June I went in to cancel my membership. Karl said he could freeze my membership and if I still was not utilizing my membership we can cancel. So I said I would give it a try. Not sure why I did that. Little did I know and little did he share, the next month I would automatically be charged again. I not only was charged for one month but two months. Are you kidding me, I tried to cancel and instead you made a suggestion but did not deliver on your end of the bargain. #1 you did not say it the charges with resume. You said if I did not use the facility then we would cancel. Then I called on 09/25/20 and spoke with Karl who apologized for the miscommunication and asked what could he do. So I came up with a solution, do not charge me for the next 2 months and I will use the facilities since I was charged without there consent. I asked him to email the information in writing like he said he would, but as of this moment Karl still has not emailed me. I am done with Gold's Gym and was not treated fairly from Westview area.

In a word: Cramped. As someone who has been to several Golds facilities over the years this is by far the smallest Golds Gym I have ever been to - especially in terms of free weight/machine space. There is only one true squat rack, there is basically no open space in the weight area to do exercises like deadlifts, machines/equipment are few in number and are literally on top of each other - so you are constantly waiting on something or working out with people walking over top of you. The layout of this facility is horrid in terms of space utilization, the crazy part is it is also totally unnecessary given there is a full size basketball court (which is a nice thing to have, but given the total amount of floor space it eats up it's not at all worth it). My advice to the new ownership group is that the basketball court needs to be eliminated/modified (half court or modified full-court) and that all the cardio equipment be moved into the newly created floor space, then the current cardio space can be used to expand the existing weight area - IF that was done this gym may actually be decent. I think this facility needs to decide what it wants to be - an actual gym or a smallish YMCA with Golds insignia on the walls
