As a local small business it’s important to treat customers with respect and dignity even when you don’t receive the same treatment. One time I was there the receptionist were joking around with each other wondering if it was safe to enter the “lions den” referring to the owner, Rick. After today I get the joke... We have been working with this shop for several months because we value the importance of supporting local. We called before picking up our prints because we caught a misspelled word in the emailed proof. “Cocoa was spelled Coco”. The owner Rick Started going off on the phone saying “this is what happens when I have to do things in a rush....” he first tried saying that was how you spell it... he literally changed our spelling that we sent. I understand that proofs are meant to catch mistakes but don’t argue with me and tell me you can spell and we can’t. He said he wouldn’t redo it and was going to pass. I asked what he would do with my art that I left there to print on and he literally hung up the phone on me. I called back to find out how I was supposed to get my art back and receptionist told me it would be taped to the front door. Very unprofessional and lazy business. Super offended because we have been nothing but patient and nice to them. (They were great up to this point) They are about 3 times more than staples FYI and staples Can actually Spell. If anyone has a better recommendation on a local print company, I would love the info. Would still prefer to support someone local. Thanks...
