Convenient. Dirt road leading to it. Well maintained.
Fun paddle. Saw a black bear crossing the river. Caught a couple smallies.
Its a great happy medium between the usually 2 day \elys ford to motts run\ trip and the sometimes crowded \motts to city dock\ trip. Great smallmouth fishing along the way. Thanks spotsy and vdgif! Only ding i have is the signage is somewhat ambiguous it reads \for launching and retrieving boats only. \ does that mean i can park on the other side of the pumphouse during my trip? Or do i need to find alternative parking for the day?
