***Warning*** Had received lists of demand of repair to my house by this insurance company with an end date of June to “repair”. The list had an inspection date of 31 January 2021, when my husband and I were not in province. Most of which were due to renovations in my basement we could not finish due to COVID. They wanted us to replace gutters and down spouts on my house that we removed due to them causing ice damming which in turned cause the leak in our roof. Once I called, NO ONE returned my calls, it wasn’t until I was forced to go to the the Consumer Advocates that I received help. I confirm; not responsive, severe clerical errors, poor quality and now that I have a savings with another insurance company POOR VALUE!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. I missd my first payment but paid it a week later. I continued to make my payments through the pay bill function of my banking app. 4 months later they charged me 330 dollars randomly to my account. They couldnt give me an explanation other then I messed up their billing because I wasn't letting the money come through direct withdrawal. I tried to ask billing they said to contact my insurance broker, my insurance broker said I should contact billing. Both were absolutely useless and neither could tell me why they charged me that amount. They did decide after looking at my account that I (somehow) owed them 11.68. This felt like a slap in the face after they made my account go into overdraft and get a NSF fee. This company is the worst and they would rather spit in your face then waive a 11.68 dollar fee when THEIR mistake cost me 68 dollars and would have been 330 if I didn't notice them taking the money out.
My wife & i have been dealing with Williams insurance for over 25 years, we have had a couple of claims, everything went very smooth. Service is topnotch, fast & courteous. I highly recommend their services.
We have had vehicle and home insurance with this firm for many years....our home since 1977 and our older car since 1970. we have always been pleased with the service we have received...that included a flooded basement ! They have been a good company to deal with throughout the years ...I recommend them highly.
