Absolutely the worst car rental place I’ve ever experienced. I rent vehicles several times a year. First of all they close at 11am Saturday’s and don’t let you know this. So if your flying in to town use another place. Actually, even if this company is the only one with a Vehicle around, CANCEL YOUR TRIP. We went to pick up our mid size fuel efficient car. They only had a huge SUV. The suv smelt bad, was dirty with garbage, spills and covered with mud and bugs on the outside. Also, to top it off oil change was past due and we had it for 14 days of travel. The lady was flustered and clearly shouldn’t be working alone ever, didn’t have time to clean the vehicle and said it would be no issue. We started driving and noticed The wheel made a noise but, we couldn’t turn back they where closed until MONDAY! The vehicle we got given was so bad on gas due to zero maintenance (400km or less per tank). We had to go all over NB for travels with a vehicle we didn’t feel safe in that was filthy with my 5 year old daughter. We had a friend look at it and they said it’s safe to drive but, they need mechanic work. We then retuned it after our trip, let them know our issues. They didn’t even attempt to apologize or discount our rental and when you think it couldn’t get worse they are charging us for detailing as the “vehicle smells and also smells like smoke”. We travelled the entire time with my daughter, not smoking in the vehicle and they charged us 150 for a cleaning fee. I couldn’t be more disgusted by this company and the Fredericton branch. They shouldn’t be allowed to be in business anymore. I’ve worked for a car rental company and never ever would treat someone like their regional sales manager does. The customer service is atrocious and he clearly doesn’t care about discount being a successful car rental place next do some of the good ones like budget. I wish I could give negative stars

Negative five stars!!! Don't rent from these fraudsters unless you enjoy being ripped off and lied to. The neckbeard working there refused to rent me a car unless I bought their ridiculously overpriced car insurance. I would have walked away if it hadn't been an emergency situation. Do yourself a favour and go with a different company- they don't deserve your business and they give the car rental industry a bad name.

I didn't even want to give it a star. Terrible customer service. I needed repairs to my car and it was being paid by my insurance. I paid a deposit in cash and was told it would be returned to me by mail. I was not even aware that I had to pay one. In a past claim Enterprise Rentals did not charge me at all....That was nearly 3 weeks ago. I was told multiple times by *Jackie* at this office that it was taking longer than usual and assured me it had been approved and mailed. That was a complete lie as I called head office today to ask what was going on. It has NOT been mailed. Absolutely ridiculous. I did my part in returning the car full of gas and in the same condition as it was given to me. My insurance company covered 9 days of rental and the body shop is paying for the remaining 3 that went over the allotted time. I should not have to wait for my deposit and honestly should not have been charged one to begin with! that fee should have been charged to my insurance. So unless you enjoy getting the run around, being lied to and very unfriendly customer service.....Stay away from this place.
Called and reserved a cargo van on Saturday June 28. Was told call and confrim on Tuesday July 02 that the cargo van was available at the time for pickup on July 3. I called July 02 and the girl on the phone had could not find the rreservation I had made on June28. Than she proceeds to tell me the cost was higher than I was quoted and there is only 200 km/day free . Plus insurance. I don't know who the fool was that I spoke to on June 28, but I made plans based on my booking with Discount He quoted me the wrong amount and told me the cargo van was unlimited mileage. I have to say Discount Rentals in Fredericton is THE WORST. You would be better of Hitch Hiking than renting from this outfit.A hell of a lot more dependable to Hitch Hike , also. Totally undependable. Further more I'll tell anyone and everyone to take their business elsewhere.
I will start off by saying if it gave me the option for no stars I wouldn’t have given them the one I did. Do not even bother getting a rental through this company, save yourself the headaches and go with Enterprise. My truck was in an accident and written off as a total loss so I was approved through my insurance for a rental. They gave me a 2018 Toyota Tundra that pulled really bad to the right, the breaks vibrated and took a bit to stop the truck and it was super hard on fuel, it’s pretty sad that my full sized 02 Ram was better on gas. I requested one of their Rams and was told no the day I picked up my rental. I was told I needed a deposit and it would be refunded back in 5-7 business days of returning the vehicle. I only kept the truck for a few days. I didn’t feel safe driving it so I returned it December the 18th. When I returned it I complained about the pulling and breaks and fuel and was told the first day it was added to their fleet it was in an accident with a wood chipper. Logic states that it should be removed from their fleet. There were no extra damages on top of the highly scratched and dented truck I returned. It is now January 17th and I do not have my deposit. I was told they mailed it out last week which was another lie. I found out today it was only mailed 2 days ago. If I knew then what I know now I would have waited the extra day for a truck to be available at Enterprise. Enterprise does not charge a deposit and they provide excellent customer service
STAY AWAY FROM THEM. I had two incidents with them , in March I rented a car and when I went to pickup my rented standard car they offered me a 5.7l 8Cyl truck , I reluctantly took it because I had no choice and absorbed the gas difference price I drive more than 1000km each trip I make. second time which was a ten days ago I rented another standard car and when I called them from the airport to send someone to pick me up , the lady told me " sorry sir we don't have your RESERVED car , all I can do is to offer you a 3/4ton truck and you have 20 minutes to decide " imagine the service , I said I'll drive alone over 1000km with a huge moving truck ??? I said what about the confirmation and all that nice things I have printed ... she didn't reply. in summary I had to make tons of calls to find another car to continue my work . Avoid them by all means they're not professionals
Good fast friendly service. They came and get you and will drop you off. They rent cars, SUV and trucks. Good rates. Would do it again.
