Quite a long bridge, that offers up stunning views of the Saint John River. It's also been newly renovated so it's even better than before. By far the best way to get to the North Side if you don't have a car.

Walking this bridge is just lovely, it offers a beautiful view of both sides of the river as well as it's own rustic charm making for an all around great walking trip. It's only about a km long so it's fairly easy to walk and connects to more great walking trails.

It's hard to imagine this walking bridge is over 100 years old. Though the trains may be long gone, the constant pitter patter of human and dog feet and the clickety clack of bicycle wheels give this old girl constant attention. The views across the river are beautiful. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent component of the Fredericton walking trail network. Bridge repairs and upgrades are nearly completed. Terrific job.
