I had booked an appointment with another salon only to arrive and find they had booked it for the wrong day - but now I am very glad as I had an amazing experience at the Regent Mall location (your loss Avalon Spa). My stylist was Chris Gagne and he was incredible. For the first time EVER I got exactly what I wanted. Chris was amazing - he kept checking to make sure the length was right and he was very gentle with the shampooing and combing. As long as Chris is there I will always come back and should he leave I will not hesitate to follow him to his new salon.

Definitely not what I expected! The place was not busy; however, hairdresser did not put much effort in her work. Only one shampoo & used very cool water. Hairdresser knew the depths of the cut but took the easy way out. Was left with lop-sided, uneven, unwanted fluffy areas. The fancy digs do not reflect what should have been a professional job. The ludicrous price [40.00-] for women & for men as well[ 30.00-] should have guaranteed a top-quality cut. . . ?financial difficulties in this pseudo-Greek restaurant-type setting. Was uncomfortable at the cuts I observed; appeared rather rushed, devoid of that personal effort of pride-in-the-work. Perhaps older folks not appreciated/too stupid to notice the afore-mentioned/lesser quality folks? The older folks who have worked and traveled the world can but smile at the translucency of these transparent events.

Never going there again. I only asked to get my hair wavy and she did it so bad. Like I don't know how is possible to do wrong something that is so basic.i asked for a refund and they didn't give me one . Honestly worst place I've got my hair done.
Had been going there every once in awhile the last year. However last week I went and they said they were full for the evening. Person never asked if I wanted to book an appt or anything. I walked by there again about 25 min later and they were just standing around talking. Went again today at 6 and it looked empty there and again same thing, they said they were full even though again there was someone just there standing around. At least this time they asked me if I wanted an appt, only the only time offered was at 830 pm just before closing. Wouldn’t recommend if they treat repeat customers this way. :(
