This is one of the best pubs we've ever been to. Truly a hidden gem in Chicago! Everything was on point: attentive waiters, good selection of food and drinks, not to mention the decor and overall amazing atmosphere. It is also vegetarian friendly. They make one of the best pot pies in the country thy taste very authentic. The friends of ours tried burgers and fries and were not disappointed! Highly recommended when in Chicago

Absolutely amazing. We love this place so much. My boyfriend gets the steak pie and he loved it. I get the vegan one and we're both happy!!! Heard some people gushing about it at the park and couldn't help but chime in and agree. Lovely staff (pre covid) and during covid no complaints! One thing is when you're ordering from google you can't select to add the mashed potatoes which is odd.
Choosing The Wagner House as our wedding venue was the BEST choice we could have made...especially in the midst of a pandemic. We booked before COVID took hold and were so excited. The space is incredible; a hot combo of urban meets rustic meets industrial. Wood floors, exposed brick walls, beamed ceilings and stringer lights overhead. Their flexibility was actually astonishing. From who we could use for any vendors, accessible the day before to set up and option to come back on Sunday to clean up (for a fee but it was very affordable). Food at our tasting was incredible and we were so excited for our wedding day. Unfortunately, in true 2020 fashion, sh*t hit the fan for the second time in November and we had to cancel our full wedding. I cannot stress this enough, working with Megan to adjust our plans 100% 6 days before our wedding was as easy as it possibly could have been. She was quick to respond, helpful with suggestions and flexible in making our changes and still figuring out how to have our small ceremony in the space we loved so much. Although our day was not what we originally expected it to be, it was still the most beautiful day I would relive 100 times over, all thanks to Megan. If you are looking for a wedding venue, look no further. This is your place.
