Kiki's Quilt Shack is one of the best quilt store I've had the pleasure to shop at. I travel to shop and take quilting classes here, traveling from Sacramento to Fresno on a regular basis. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and so much fun to shop with. The fabrics are plentiful and excellent quality. They have a wide variety sewing machines, surgers and long arms. Trust me. KIKI's is a must visit store.

Absolutely loved all the Gorgeous Batiks and of course had to buy about 400 worth! Who could resist the luscious ocean blues, greens, and sand colors? I needed them for a special double wedding ring, queen sized quilt. The staff were very helpful and encouraging as I was a bit nervous of making my first big project using Batiks, and my very first ever double wedding ring quilt. They encouraged me and happily laid out bolt after bolt of delightful fabrics they believed would be perfect for my project. And they were 100% right! It came out even better than I had hoped. The fabric prep took about 6 hours of hand washing in very warm water before the blues, greens and blacks stopped bleeding, but it's better to get all that extra color out before it can ruin your quilt later. Even if you wash in cold water, your project can get pretty hot in the drier and make colors run. I'm so glad I listened to my friend and washed the fabrics. That's not Kiki's fault at all and I don't blame them a bit! Their fabrics are amazing. It's just that laundering beforehand can be a good idea. It's just how blues and reds are in general, even the best fabric can run a bit. But anyway. I love Kiki's shop and plan on coming back again and again whenever I need fabric. If you haven't stopped in yet, you should, you'll be glad you did!

I can't say enough good things about Kiki's. It is becoming my home away from home. And I am 1 hour away. I love the atmosphere there. I love love the classes they offer. Go on their website and browse their classes. There is a class for everyone. And believe me, once you take one, you will be back again and again. If you need something, most likely they will have it, if not they will order it for you. The staff is like everything else there, Only the best will do!!! And believe me, they are the best. They are so knowledgeable. But above all they are friendly, helpful, and always ready with a warm welcome. They are always willing to help you with whatever project you need help on. Even right down to helping you pick the right colors of fabric for whatever project you are working on. To be truthful they have become my friends.. And fabric..Did I say fabric!!! Well look no further. They have thousands of bolts of beautiful top quality fabric. And one last thing I would like to say. Because this was my own personal experience there. If your interested in a sewing machine, don't be hesitant to ask them to demonstrate one to you. And for whatever reason, if you don't buy at that time, you will never be pressured. You can come back in this store time and time again, and never be treated any differently, than if you were their most valuable customer. So if you are looking for that special place. Where it is all under one roof.. Come to Kiki's Quilt Shack. I guarantee you will like it here.

I'm not sure how good this store is on average for anything except for their sewing machine repairs. It has been almost 2 weeks and still haven't completed the repairs on my mother's sewing machine. I just hope it is done before this weekend so that my metal jacket can have its patches finished before the Valkyrie Missile Benefit Event on the 31st of January. I want to represent the 559 and show how we stick together for when people need help the most. Look them up to see what happened to them.
